In my attempt to become proficient with watercolor, I decided to give Yupo paper a try during a class taught by Gail Armstrong at the Providence Art Club. Yupo is a polypropylene sheet which is acid free and great for abstracts and loose impressionistic work. As a control freak, I was challenged by its constant movement of color while drying, but once I learned to layer the colors quickly so that I did not "lift" them off the sheet, it was a lot of fun. Enjoy!
