The Boat at Chelos on the Waterfront

This winter I was asked to transform a Fiberglas boat which was mounted into the wall at a restaurant in East Greenwich, RI.  The restaurant was renovating the space to be used as a wedding and banquet room and the 1980s styled boat was not blending in with the up scaled surroundings.  Since a classic wood Chris Craft would be more appropriate, I set out to woodgrain the boat, and paint the bottom in a classic color.  Below are the transformation steps for the 25 foot vessel.  Special thanks to Harrison Painting for the excellent prep work and base paint.
