An Adventure in Daily Painting

Today's Project...

A Bird's Nest in Three Timed Sessions

This afternoon was my painting class with Kelley MacDonald and today's exercise was to do the same composition starting with 60 minutes, then 40 minutes and then 10 minutes.  The point is to capture what is essential and not overwork the painting.  I ran out of time for the last one before I was happy with the painting, but the 40 minute session was a winner.  Great fun with a great group of folks at the art club.  I am eyeing a hibiscus for tomorrow's session...
